Oshi no Ko rating continues to drop

 As was already mentioned, a Serial Experiments Lain fan broke into the prominent MyAnimeList website. Prior to that, we had reported that the currently airing series Oshi no Ko has dropped from the top place to the ninth position overall on the site.

Based on more than 144 000 reviews, Oshi no Ko currently has a rating of 9.04 out of 10. Over 83 thousand of these are ten points, while just 4,808 are as low as one point. Given that you can't evaluate a brief series without waiting for it to end, neither situation makes sense.

In any case, it seems to reason that a live series will have varying ratings as it continues to run new episodes. Will Oshi no Ko keep losing points throughout the Spring 2023 (April–June) season? Or will it come back in a big way at the end of the broadcast? Even though it is obvious that the franchise's media momentum is still strong, we won't know that for a few weeks.
