Blue Exorcist finally announces its return, but with a different studio

 During the Aniplex Online Fest 2023, the first promotional teaser for the upcoming season of the acclaimed anime adaptation of Kazue Katou's manga, Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist), has been unveiled. 

The video officially reveals that this new installment will be titled Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga and is scheduled to premiere on Japanese screens in January 2024.

No information has been provided about whether this season will be a long one, implying more than twenty episodes, even though the original manga has an extensive storyline. Additionally, the press release confirms that A-1 Pictures will not be in charge of this adaptation.
